Volunteer

From front-of-house to behind-the-scenes, IVSO volunteers are the foundation of concert day. It’s even better in a group; get your church choir, homeschool group, philanthropy organization, scout troop, or social club together for an evening of music and fun together!

We’ll throw in a couple free tickets to the symphony as a thank you!

The Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra also gladly accepts in-kind donations. Note that your donation will be tax-deductible, less the value of the subscription if eligible ($80 per subscription). If you do not wish to receive subscriptions as part of your donation, please notify us in the notes section.

  • Gifts between $50 and $99, recognized in the general donor thanks section of the programs November through May.

  • Gifts between $100 and $249, recognized in the general donor thanks section of the programs November through May.

  • Gifts between $250 and $499, recognized in the general donor thanks section of the programs November through May and one season subscription ($80 value) with our thanks.

  • Gifts between $500 and $999, recognized in the general donor thanks section of the programs November through May and two season subscriptions ($160 value) with our thanks.

  • Gifts between $1,000 and $4,999, recognized in the general donor thanks section of the programs November through May and 4 season tickets ($320 value) with our thanks.

  • Gifts of $5,000 and above, recognized in the general donor thanks section of the programs November through May and 4 season tickets ($320 value) with our thanks.

Donate through The Giving Fund

Sponsorships are perfect for generous individuals or for organizations that would like to support the arts in the Illinois Valley with maximum visibility. All regular-season IVSO concerts as well as our two school concerts are available for concert sponsorship. All principal seats in the orchestra are available for chair sponsorship. Sponsorships at the concert and season level have various advertising benefits as well as included tickets. Click below to learn more about each sponsorship!

Sponsorships

  • This sponsorship is available to businesses as well as individual donors and “in memoriam” gifts.

    • Your name, logo, and/or dedication will be included in the season’s concert program booklet, on all publicity posters, in press releases, and on web pages throughout the season. If you are sponsoring the concert as a business, you will also receive a complimentary half-page, full page program ad.

    • You will receive an onstage mention prior to each concert and the opportunity to meet the conductor and guest artists.

    • You will receive a total of 20 complimentary tickets, 4 tickets for each concert of the season, which may be used at any concert.

  • his sponsorship is available to businesses as well as individual donors and “in memoriam” gifts.

    • Your name, logo, and/or dedication will be included in the concert’s program booklet, as well as in press releases and web pages for that concert. If you are sponsoring the concert as a business, you will also receive a complimentary half-page, full color program ad.

    • You will receive an onstage mention prior to the concert, as well as an opportunity to meet the conductor and guest artist.

    • You will receive 4 complimentary tickets to the concert.

  • This sponsorship supports the whole orchestra—it is not paid out directly to the musician—and is available to businesses as well as individual donors and “in memoriam” gifts.

    • The name of your choice will be included on the personnel page of the season’s concert program booklet under the name of the principal musician for the season.
